Mango Margarita!
Are longer nights and warm rays of sunshine calling you towards a Soon-to-be-Summertime celebration?
Pick up a few beautiful “Van-Gogh” mangoes and “Lime Time” limes, grab a blender and your favorite Agave based Spirit and whip up some of these beautiful Mango Margaritas to share with all of your summer loving friends!
Ingredients:
2 Limes
2 Tb. Sugar
2.5 C. Chopped, “Van Gogh” Mangoes
Ice, for blending
1.5 C. Tequila
1.5 C. Triple Sec
1/2 C. Sugar
Rosemary Sprigs (Optional)
On a small plate, make the lime-sugar to rim your glasses.
Zest Limes on a small plate (reserve Limes for the margarita’s). Toss Lime zest with 2 Tb. Sugar. Set Aside.
Now, for the Margarita!
Add the Mango chunks into a blender and top the blender with ice. Pour in the Tequila and Triple Sec. Add the granulated Sugar and squeeze in the juice of the Limes. Blend until completely smooth, adding more ice if necessary to get the proper consistency. Should be smooth, silky and delicious!
Use a segment of lime to moisten the rims of the glasses. Dip the rims in the Lime Sugar. Optional: Add a sprig of Rosemary to use as a stir stick, plus added Aroma. Pour your drinks and enjoy!
