Unfortunately however, this is not always possible the moment you bring that beautiful piece of fruit home from the store because most mangoes are not fully ripe at the time of purchase. But alas, taking a page from the Banana and Avocado playbook, our new “Ripe and Ready” program brings you that immediate taste sensation your pallet craves!
Per Jesse Sepulveda, Mango Category Manager at Vision Produce Company, “we are excited to lead the progression of the ‘Ripe & Ready’ mango program in the U.S. Europe has been Processing mangoes for about 10 years now with great success. Our initial results show that the consumer has an extraordinary eating experience and this can be verified when our retailer reports that their sales have doubled. Our next opportunity for this program is food service, where we see huge potential for a consistently ripe product.”
